There is no grass root support for reforming School Leadership Teams among parents, teachers, educators, politicians, etc. This has been a missed opportunity to really involve parents and teachers in the school governance process through shared decision making. The NYCDOE has been successful in undermining the authority of Teams under the law to develop the school's CEP and to be actively involved in the school budget process.
