School Leadership Team Training

State Education Law 2590H(15B)requires "appropriate training" for members of School Leadership Teams (SLTs). Chancellor's Regulation A-655 (School Leadership Teams) under Section VI.,requires the NYCDOE OFIA ( Office of Parent Information and Advocacy)to provide regular training sessions to SLTs in their districts and the high schools. The NYCDOE Office of School Improvement provides training to SLTs for the development of the school's Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP) and Title 1 program requirements.

The information I am receiving is that training is not happening. If your team has not received "regular training sessions", contact O. Hall of OFIA at your school has not received any CEP training and or Title 1 program requirement training, contact Sharon Rencher at the Office of School Improvement at
